In October 1904,a small contigent of worshippers grouped together for the sole purpose of
organizing the first Presbyterian church in the westside of Los Angeles, considered to be somewhat odd, because the Presbyterian
approach to worship was somewhat foreign to that of the 'traditional' Baptist and Methodist church -goers. History tells us
it was on a Sunday afternoon that the then Presbyterian of Los Angeles formally gathered the pioneering Christian in an assembely,
which in time became the Westminster Presbyterian church.
