the church in which they are doing on Sunday service, Dennis Matthews did not give up and he believed that many people

In 1987 churchs were not ready to move to online streaming video and Dennis Matthews
kept trying to convince churchs to begin using his technology over the resistance in the church. Technology was
not a thing that churchs were intrested in this time frame.
Dennis Matthews founder of LCE wanted a Black
church to have this technology. Phillip Matthews died he was a memberof this church.
Dennis
Matthews started a long time ago to look for a church for his live stream video in the year 1987 help get it work.
In 2009 Dennis Matthews has set up 5 churchs with his live stream video.
VISION OF FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH
"Write the Vision, make it plain, that they may run and not faint, though the vision is only
for awhile. It shall speak and not lie. If the Lord said it you can count on it. He will do just what He says. It is so. Yes,
it is so. He will do just what He said."
Since the relocation to Yorba Linda, the Lord has certainly been making the vision plain. With
3000 plus members on the roster, we have had to expand the sanctuary, enlarge the parking lot twice, and constructed
the James D. Carrington Learning Administrative and Educational Center. The Carrington Center allows us to have a complete
and substantial educational facility. The facility encompasses approximately 24,000 square feet of administrative offices,
sixteen classrooms a resource center, choir room, counseling and conference rooms. The facility allowed the church to expand
some of our youth and adult ministries, and has provided additional space accommodations for our educational, musical, and
church ministry programs.
Presently,
we have the drawings for our new facility - we are currently under construction for the Stephen Bryson Youth Activity Center.:
Are
you ready, have you written the vision down? Do you see that it's plain? We, those who are committed, believe that "It
is so, why, because God is not a Man that He should lie, He will do just what He says!"
A View of the FBC Mission
We presently occupy the entire "Island Type" parcel of land that extends
from Bastanchury and Imperial Highway to Prospect Avenue, approximately 10 acres. In addition to the existing Sanctuary and
Multi-Purpose Building, and the James D. Carrington Administrative and Educational Learning Center, the property will include
the following "new" and "future" facilities/projects:
The Stephen Bryson Youth Activity Center - Currently in Progress
Youth
Center will have study facilities with computers, game room, gymnasium and Assembly Hall with stage and additional classroom
spaces.
Build
New Worship Center
Convert current sanctuary into a Performing Arts Center
Purchase housing in the surrounding area and convert to transitional
housing
Purchase
property on Bastanchury to house a Christian School (K-12)
Mortuary New
Parking Spaces- existing parking will be expanded to add 150 spaces
We are truly thankful for our present facilities,
and God is blessing our efforts to run an effective, efficient, Christ-centered program for our youth and adults. He has always
provided the necessary resources to do whatever He asks of us. We are excited by the growth in the various church ministries
and tremendous spiritual fruit that is resulting. We view the vision as an important investment in the spiritual lives of
our children, youth and adults, and thus the very future of our community.
